How Brave of A Person are YOU?

Are you generally a shy or an outgoing person? For me, I’m definitely a shy person. Not terribly shy but if you ask me to go out and speak in front of a crowd of people I wont do it. But I have definitely come a long way. Not only have I improved tremendously but I can safely say that I can talk in front of an audience now. Still scared but not impossible.

I do know of some people that are so shy that they wont even go and order food for themselves. In Malaysia we have lots of hawker stalls around and the only way you can eat is that you go over to their stalls and tell them what you want. They won’t go over to your table because first they’re busy cooking themselves and second, it’s just not them.

And worst of all, some of these hawker boss are fierce and grumpy people. Especially those that know they serve good food. Not only do they bark at you for no reason, they scold you too if you order the wrong thing or ask too many questions.

Can’t blame a person if he/she doesn’t have the guts to order food from them.

I have a friend that would rather starve then to go over and order food. Poor gal. Luckily she grew out of it or else she would have disintegrate into the air. Too thin!

The thing about hawker stalls are you never know where the food comes from. As in you won’t know whether the food that the stalls serve are nice or not. So the only thing that you do is you observe what other people are eating. And if it looks nice most likely it is nice.

You can definitely judge a food by it’s cover!

Unfortunately some food courts are so huge that you never know which food comes from which stalls. For those smaller restaurants that have only one kind of food each, there will be no problem finding where that particular food come from.

But what if the place is huge?

There is one such place in SS2. I’m sure almost everybody has been there. Medan Selera they call it. Wai Sek Gai in Cantonese. It’s a super huge place with over a hundred stalls with different kinds of food there. And if you’re new there you wouldn’t know what to order at all. So you walk around and slowly stare at people’s food hoping they wont notice you. Because our mums have always taught us since young, IT’S RUDE TO STARE! But what to do? Wanna know where the food come from mah.. I know I always do that.

The worst part is that you found something you like but you have no idea where the food is from. There is a solution to this though. You can always go over to the person and ask that person where he/she ordered the food from. And whether it is nice.

Would you do that?

Though it always crosses my mind that I could very well do that and save all the trouble of ordering the wrong one, I never ever summon enough courage to ask the million dollar question.

But… that day when I went with my family for dinner there. Someone actually did that. I was happily eating my fried glass noodles when this young 20 something guy suddenly stoop down and force his face right next to me. I almost got a shock of my life! He then proceeded to ask me,

“Miss, where did you order this from?”

I have to admit I was seriously really taken aback. Not tat I minded or anything but this was seriously the first. I always thought about doing this but I didn’t know people actually did that! I was quite happy to help him actually. Wat I hated most was that my mouth was full of food at that moment and I couldn’t charm him. I was hot, with my mouth full of food. Can’t really ask him to wait while I finished chewing so I just answered him.

Interesting though. After this experience I would definitely start asking people where their food comes from. Better than slowly guessing and noticing the colour of their plates and everything. Good for my greedy tummy!

So if you see a girl suddenly pop right next to you asking where your food comes from, it may be me, Princess Shin! =)

Finance, Everyone needs it!

Oh.. Finance!!! Money! You can't live without it!!! But the problems that arises from it you can definitely live without it right? Argh.. Just thinking about it makes me have a headache! Loans, mortgages, credit card, car insurance.. This little girl still has much to learn!!!

Do you have a bank account for your children? I remember when I was younger, my mum opened up lots of bank accounts for me. Those kiddy bank accounts that gave lots of soft toys and little coin banks! I had tons of them!!! And I would follow my mum all day around town checking on my saving accounts and collecting more 'goods' from them!!!

Unfortunately though.. I think those bank accounts were opened not for my future but more to collect interest because I have no idea where the money went. My mum certainly didn't give me the money! =(

Boohoo.. But seriously though, did you know that children's bank account has higher interest rates? It's really good to get your children knowing the importance of saving money even at a young age. Just make sure you give them the money after that! =)

Check out these articles. It's kinda true. Don't ya think so?

Menopause A to Z

Hmm.. with my above title did I scare away my beloved male readers? What? Even you female readers are feeling uncomfortable just merely mentioning this dreaded 'M' word?

But you're still reading right? So congrats to you! =)

Menopause is something that every woman will face sooner or later. I know my mum is facing it now and it's quite hard for her. She gets hot flushes now and then and gets so grumpy sometimes it drives my family crazy!!!

And the thing about menopause is that it doesn't happen overnight. It can stretch on to months without end! One month you have it, the other month you may not have it. Pretty frustrating if you ask me. And totally confusing!

My poor mum.

Now there is a site and a book which has all the information you need about menopause. It's perfect for older woman seeking real world information about menopause from other women who has BEEN THERE!

Good for me to prepare myself for the inevitable too. Kinda scary if you ask me. But that's life.

There is plenty of articles there. Early signs of Menopause, post menopausal bleeding and health remedy for menopause, and lots more.

But whatever the situation, just remember to embrace life. Whatever happens, life itself is a blessing!

New Subliminal CD Website

We humans are a problematic bunch! We're always facing some problem or another. Whether it is because of some lost relationship, or some weight issues, or just some PMS thingy, we're always facing this lack of confidence thingy.

We constantly need people to tell us that we are great people. We are wonderful people. We can do great things!!!

But where exactly do you find people to tell you that? Everyone has their own problems? And going to a psychiatrist is paid by the hour! Not so much money there!

What do we do then? Read a self-help book?

Well.. there is now a self help CD for problematic people like us!!! A website selling subliminal CDs!!!

Subliminal CD.com is a site that sells over 120 subliminal CDs. Covering over everything from boosting your confidence level, confronting your inner fears and phobias, developing your creative brain side, to developing your singing voice!!!

They even have CDs on becoming a romantic, having a successful marriage and the one I like best! STOP being jealous CD! Haha.. great for me I guess! =)

Head over there and take a look. This is one site that is truly interesting. Have fun!

Who are my readers?

Hey guys! How are you? This is the first time I'm addressing my 'imaginary readers' directly! This is new to me! Haha..

This is my 300th post and it's still counting! Goodness gracious me! I have been writing over 300 post! Wow.. Wonder how many words are there!

It has really been a journey for me. Meeting all the wonderful bloggers out there. Making friends with them. Knowing what is happening in their daily lives. And some of them telling me straight to my face that my blog is changing. That I'm not what I am anymore. It's not that interesting anymore. And I have too many sponsored post.

This that this that.

Kinda heart pain lo read this. Won't you if someone tells you that your blog is no good anymore? But I guess you can't please anyone. Though most people say that it's your blog and you can do whatever you like about it but at the end of the day we still wanna make everyone happy right? So though it was hard to swallow at first and it bothered me for days without end, I decided later that I will not let this small little comment ruin my day or my confidence in blogging. Instead I'm gonna take this as an advice and improve.

Sure.. I'll still write sponsored post. But I'll try to write more personal post in between. And if you look closely, I do relate my own personal experience in my sponsored post. Though I know most people just skip the whole thing once they see the word 'sponsored post'!

So prejudiced la!

Anyway... After so long, I would really wanna know who my readers are! And now I have a way to actually do that without you guys giving away your identity.

Adverlets.com has set up this small little window for me at the right of my blog. All you need to do is just click on it and it will ask you a few simple question. About 4 to be exact. You wont be transfered to another window. It will just take around 20 seconds of your time.

What they need is actually to know who are my audience. Then of course only then will they know what kind of advertisements to put on my blog. But I think this is actually a great idea but then I would also know who my readers are generally.

I would really appreciate if you would do this for me. Then I would know who are my 'imaginary readers'. What age group they are. And of course the million dollar question. Do they have a blog themselves!

Would you do this small thing for me? Pretty please? As a 300th post birthday pressie for me?

Thanks ya! Muarx!

*Big eyes* now..

A competitive loan with an ethical twist.

Everything is all about money nowadays. I just received a mail the other day on how a Malaysian family of 2 can survive with RM3000.

The answer?

Not possible at all!

What with the car, the house, the tuition fees, the food, the electricity.. You can't survive with that kinda salary at all. So what do a family like this do when they need to buy something or pay for their children's education?

Well.. loans of course. What choice do we have? But do you know what kind of company you're getting yourself into? Are you indirectly funding a 'black' society? Do you know where your money come from? Is it causing unnecessary bad causes to people?

You may say that you don't care and it's none of your business, so as long as you get the money, but truth be told, we have a responsibility in this. Everyone of us have. The power of a person is tremendous.

By being knowledgeable, you can actually make the world a better place!

Well, Co-op's financial products are bound to their ethical policy, so people like you and me can be rest assured that the money that they borrow did not come from the profits of pollution or human rights abuses!

Even just one little step can go a long way. That's why we call it Seed of Change! =)

Mother's Day Pressie!

I know this is a bit long overdue but I'm gonna dedicate my this post to my mum.

Ever since our maid ran away over half a year back, my mum has stopped cooking! Really! We have been eating out every single day for the past 6 months! I mean EVERY SINGLE DAY!!!

You can imagine how sick I am of outside food! No matter how nice it is. I am totally and utterly fed up with it.

You may think that my mum is a terrible and lousy cook but on the contrary she is actually a good cook. Granted she's not the world's renowned chef and can't cook tens and hundreds of gourmet dishes.. like Bree, but she has her famous dishes. And I'm a big fan of it.

The problem is just she doesn't want to cook. Because she complains that she has no one cleaning after her and it makes her kitchen dirty.

I can hear you say why don't I go and help her. Well, you also have to understand that my mum is a super fussy lady and she feels that she has to do things herself even if I'm helping her. Coz I'm not good enough.

Or something lidat. I don't really know the reason why she doesn't want to cook!

I get so frustrated sometimes that I just wanna go into the kitchen and cook up a storm. The only problem is I have no idea how.

Maybe some of you can give me some cooking lessons.

Anyway, the thing is that I have always felt very angry with her. Felt that she is not good enough or frustrated with her inability to provide food for her family.

And though sometimes I do show my unhappiness towards her, most of the time I don't really dare. She is still my mother right? I can't say she's a terrible mom.

But today, for the first time, while we were having lunch at one of the indian restaurants in Center Point, she confided in me saying that she is also very tired of outside food. She actually said,

"I think I'm gonna cook today!"

Wow.. I almost fainted out of shockness and joy! I'm serious! I knew I was threading on sensitive territory here. Any wrong move and she may get angry and take back her offer.

Quickly I suggested a few things she can cook and talked to her in my most cheerful and happy manner! My mum was gonna cook!!!

And for the first time in almost 1 year, we went into the vegetable section in the supermarket and actually bought food from there!

Goodness gracious me. This is all so new and foreign to me! =)

That evening, I actually helped my mum chop up the long beans (my very first time), stir up the eggs, washed the dishes, washed the kuali, wash the rice, cook the rice, clean the veggies, and later after all was done, wipe the table and wash the dishes.

Goodness, my back is aching now!!!

And I'm all smelly and sticky!

But the result was wonderful! I never had home cooked food for god knows how long! Even my daddy was pleased! No.. change that. My daddy was super pleased. Imagine coming back to a house with home cooked food!!!

Wow... =)

And I can really say I fully appreciate my mum now. It's really not easy cooking a meal. I know. I just did that. And I was merely a helper. She actually did all the cooking! She was in the kitchen from 4-7pm. I only went in and out coz I didn't know what to do. And even that I have back aches now.

Cooking is really not a easy thing. Wat more every single day!

Sorry mum.. And thanks mum for cooking for us all these years. I know now that it's hard work without a maid. So I won't complain of eating out anymore.

I'll try not to complain. Okay?

Too bad she doesn't read my blog. And I don't think I'll tell this to her face to face. But Thanks mum! =)

Here's the Mother's Day pressie I gave my mum!

Nice anot? I make myself wan! Hehe.. All Rights Reserved!

And this is the whole thing. Cost me quite a sum! Hehe..

Don't you just love Tous? I absolutely love the bear! You think it's nice?

It's the Mother of Pearl. Just like my mum! ^.^

This is it's 'butt!' So cute! Got tattoo wan!

Did you know that when you buy something from Tous, they actually give you a certificate? To prove that you actually bought something from them. Oooh.. I love TOUS!

Suffice to say she was really happy with my pressie. In my card, I wrote that I'll really miss her when I go over to the States. And I have no idea what am I gonna do.

It's hard to tell her face to face on these kinda intimate feelings. We're still Asians right? No excuse I know. But seriously, just writing this down here now is bringing tears to my eyes. I have always looked forward to the day of going overseas to study. New culture and everything. But now that it is slowly looming close, I can't imagine how hard it would be for me.

My mum literally feeds me everything. I am nothing without her. I can't function properly without her. She is there for me for everything. How can I live without her? How am I gonna function properly?

Oh dear oh dear...

I am so gonna miss her.

Happy Mother's Day mummy! I love ya..

CIS Motor Insurance

I had a friend that lost her car recently. Actually by lost I mean her car was stolen right in front of her own house. Imagine that! One day, you get up, all ready to go to work.. You walk out of your house and.. YOU CAN'T FIND YOUR CAR!!!

It's not where it is supposed to be! Goodness gracious me! Imagine that!!!

Well.. that was 3 months ago. They haven't found it yet till now.

But you know what? Luckily she had the car insured. So the company is gonna pay her and at the end of the day, she didn't really lost anything.

Because she had insurance!

Do you have insurance for your car?

I'm not the only one with the PayPal problem

Wow.. looks like I'm not the only one on the island. Almost all the Malaysians bloggers are facing the same problem. It's really terrible you know if you can't accept your payments because you don't have a US bank account. Because your funds will only be there for a month and if you don't accept it by then it will be return to the sender, which in this case will be PPP.

But all is not lost.. Not end of the world yet. Human being are very intelligent creatures. Esp when it comes to money. Haha.. nothing will stop in our way.

What is a little bank account in George Bush's country gonna do to stop us from getting our moolah? Definitely not right? There is always a solution for everything.

And don't let this be a determent from joining PayPerPost. Like I said there's always a solution. So go click on that banner on your right. And don't forget to add my e-mail. I'll thank you first!

Wahhaha..

Ok.. back to business. I don't think I'll be using this to solve my PayPal problem because I'll be going to US in another 2 months time and I hope everything will go smoothly for me.

But for you guys, there's a way out of this.

HongKiat.com has wrote a long post on how he got a debit card to get all his funds. And Weirdoux has also taught us on how to get a VMI ATM card. Something to do with a Hong Kong bank account!

And I really hope this is not gonna be a permanent thing. I'll only be going to the states in TWO months time! What am I gonna do till then if they continue with this problem? But from LiewCF it seems that it is just some kind of error that PayPal is trying to fix. Really hope they fix it soon.

And for you guys out there.. best of luck ya. Tell me if you succeed in getting your funds!

Muarx!

Help!!! My PayPal got problem!

Oh dear oh dear oh dear.. why is it so hard for us to earn money? >.< Even with PayPerPost and all that but it is seriously a hassle I tell you. Money doesn't come easy!!! Definitely.

The thing is PayPerPost will transfer whatever funds that you have earn to PayPal. I'm sure you guys have heard of PayPal. I have too but I just didn't know how it worked. Until I started earning some pocket money from PPP.

The thing about PayPal is that you have to add in your credit card number to sort of verify your account! I have no idea why they need this for because I'm definitely not going to use my credit card to buy anything but they say they need to verify god knows what. So uselo..

Even though it wasn't my credit card. No choice la! Have to use mum's one! =( Boohoo..

And after that, all is not over yet. You still have to add in a US bank account before you can actually accept your funds. So now.. how are we Malaysians which are like over 20 hours away from US gonna have a US bank account?

Geramla I tell you.

It wasn't really a problem actually because they use to have this option whereby you can choose to add in your bank account later. So after adding you credit card number, you can receive your funds.

But now.. They require you to add in your bank account number too!!! For some safety reasons it seems!

Argh!!! Where got such thing wan? So how now.. can accept any payments now? >.<

I know it's a lot of problem for people to get their funds out of PayPal. But I'm gonna go to the States in another 2 months time to study so I hope I can get it settled there. But what about now?

See.. don't think it's easy for us to earn money just by crowding our blog with sponsored post. It's money that we can't touched! Boohooo...!

That saying that.. It's kinda worth while going through all this if at the end of the day I'll get my money! =)

Pet Insurance

Are you a pet lover? I know the only pet I have ever own was a small little turtle that I actually bought for my brother as his birthday present. But it ended up with me looking after it. Which subsequently ended up with the maid in the end!

Even with the little turtle I had a hard time persuading my mum to let me keep it! I had to use my 'lawyer' skills to persuade her that a turtle won't make noise, won't dirty the house and won't need a lot of caring!

She finally agreed though. But the thing is I never really understood how some people can actually treat their pets as their children. Some pets in the world are even living more expensive lives than us!

PPP Direct Launches

For all your PPP fans out there, did you notice anything different in PPP this few days? After the PPP suddenly got 'sick', she went to see the doctor and now she's a totally new person now!

Yeah.. I think PPP is a she! That's why she went for plastic surgery and voila, she's a whole new thing now!

If you have been in the dark all this while, well, you should really check PPP out! There's this thing called PPP Direct whereby you put a button on your blog and if any advertisers so happen to stumble onto your blog, they can deal with you directly.

Negotiate the price and everything. And PPP will only get 10% of the cut!

And all you need is just blogging!

I think this is a pretty good idea. Sometimes when the advertisers contact the bloggers directly, we bloggers would have to take the chance either writing the post first and hopping that the advertisers would pay us or persuading them to pay us first.

Either way it's kinda a lose-lose situation.

But with PPP direct. Hmm... I think things can improved here!

Did you know that comparing to other competitors like ReviewMe, PPP Direct only charges a 10% fee, 5% of which goes to the transaction fees for PayPal and credit card processing! Whereas for ReviewMe, they charge 50 to 100% markup and keep half of our money!!!

The only problem for me is how to bring the advertisers to our blog though. That's my only worry. But I'll certainly give this PPP Direct a try!

Good Luck!

Afternoon Nap. Do you take it?

Remember when we were young and when the weather is dark and gloomy and about to rain, our mothers would push us to have a nap telling us that this is the best time to have a nice afternoon sleep? And its true! Cuddling underneath the giant big comforter in the dark gloomy weather is certainly the best. Though if you’re unlucky thunder and lightning would start to show their prowess and no more beauty sleep for you! And what’s worst is when your electricity trips and you’ll be left all alone in the hot stuffy now dark room.

But before that it was super nice right? Comfortable cooling bed. Don’t you wish you’re in it now?

But is it just with dark gloomy weather do we have a nap? I don’t think so. As lazy Malaysians.. well..

The weather today is crazy! I know we Malaysians shouldn’t be complaining at all what with people living in the land down under suffering under 40 degrees Celsius of hot dry sun we can’t really complain. Someone even told me it’s like being in a microwave there! You have hot wind blowing your face. And we should count our lucky stars that we’re living in Malaysia with cool wind.

But it was super hot today right? Those out this afternoon would know what I’m talking about. It is so terribly hot! Esp when you're out and you're about to go into your car! Oh My Goodness!!! It's utterly terrible!

Where did you wish you were at that moment?

Let me guess..!!!

In an air-condition room right? Nice cold air blowing you. Making you all cool and nice inside. And what would you be doing?

SLEEPING of course!!! =)

So napping in the afternoon is not only reserved for dark gloomy days. But also hot humid days. So what is left? Night?

Yup!!! We Malaysians are a lazy lot. At least I know I am. And I’m proud to admit it! Hehe.. Are you?

MaternityCard.com

My goodness! I can't imagine being a mother! I love kids and all and seeing cute little kids on the street sometimes makes me wonder how it would be like to have one my own.. But actually going through the whole labour thing and after that getting up every single night to take care of the baby sounds pretty scary to me!

Not that I'm not gonna have my own family.. Just not so fast!

Having a baby is no walk in the park. I'm not a parent and even I know! The cost of having a child is so high nowadays that most families now opt for one child! It's crazy! What with hospital fees, baby powder, diapers. I tell you if you can't afford it, then just go buy a condom! =P

But if you're already pregnant, then well, I suggest you can a Maternity Card! Pregnancy Care is one of the most important aspect of all. I'm sure you'll need Prenatal Care which is important for both you and your little one and maternity health insurance can sometimes be too expensive! Now, MaternityCard can help you make the best decisions on how to best handle the cost of having your little precious one!

It's really important to have a comprehensive maternity service package and with MaternityCard, you can be assured that you have experts that will formulate the best maternity benefit package that is tailored specifically to the mother in you!

I now wish you all the best for your precious little one and yoU!

I want this car!!!

I'm sure if you're a frequent reader of my blog, you'll know that Princess Shin is definitely a girl and she loves pink! How else would she have wrote this and this! =) hehe..

Tricked you didn't I?

But I seriously love pink. I have no idea why. And it wasn't something that I develop since young. I actually hated the colour pink since I was a child because I thought it was too girly!!!

You tell me la.. WHere got such thing wan? A girl didn't like pink coz she thinks it's too girly! Make sense a not?

I use to always look down on girls that love pink because I tot they were too sissy and weak! Only girls that love pink are sissy!

Yeah right! As if girls are not supposed to be sissy.

I know I know.. I was a troubled youth at that time.

Anyway.. luckily though I came to my senses now and just 2 years ago I discovered the beauty of pink. I think it came because the girl sitting behind me in my form 6 class was absolutely obsess with pink. Her bag, pencil box, file, pencil, handbag, earrings, everything was pink! And though in the beginning I found it totally weird but I guess the 'magic dust' got some onto me too because after that I LOVE PINK toO!!!

Oooh.. I absolutely love the colour. I love it especially more if it's a bright shade of pink. Not so babyish but brighter. Babyish is cool when I'm in my girly feminine self but when I'm wild, I like it bright pink!

And you ask me what does this all have to do with a car? Well.. I don't really fancy cars. As in I have a car and I need a car because it takes me around but other than the basic functuality of having a nice cooling air-cond and a good hearable sound system, I'm okay with it. Any car is all right! Don't really have a dream car

Until now....

Lo and behold the PINK car!!!

Pink lovers out there! Let's all scream together!!!
OH MY GAWD!!!

OH MY GAWD!!!

Even the driver has one!!! Ever wonder why your car doesn't have one at the driver's seat? Drivers don't have to look at the mirror one ah?

Just look at this sweet baby lamp!!!

Did I hear you scream again? You want one too now right?

Just look at it! Ah... Orgasm already!

Can I have one?

Even the butt looks cute!!!

I want my pink car!!! Anyone wanna be my sugar daddy? ^.^

I heard that it is dangerous to put soft toys in your car because it tells people that the owner of the car is a girl and it's just asking for people to rob or rape you. And this car definitely screams "I AM A LADY DRIVER WHO IS WEAK!!! COME RAPE ME!!!" but I want this car.

Can? *big eyes*

Ok.. I can hear you guys mumbling.. So great meh? How much is the horse power? Got air bags anot? Run on V6 engine anot? How fast is the pickup speed? How fast can it go? Does it have ABS? Whatever whatever whatever..

I don't care. So long as it drives I'm okay with it. COZ IT'S PINK!!!

No wonder marketing is so successful!!! Sigh..

BuildASign - Create magnetic signs for your car

I always wondered where do people get those interesting colorful street signs from. You know those kinds that are always beside the roads. Be it in the yard showing they have a huge garage sale or those Real Estate Signs. Did they make it at home or what?

Now I know a place where you can actually customize one to your liking. BuildASign is a site whereby they allow you to customize signs of various kinds for you own personal or company use. It includes yard, magnetic street and real estate signs. You can choose the magnetic sign size, customize the look of it and order it as quickly as possible. Piece of cake! =)

So anybody thinking of selling their houses?

No cleanser to Uni?

Recently my mum just told me that in recent events of the terrorist attacks in US and the UK, they have a new ruling on what not to bring on the plane. Not only is the security in the States not tight enough, they're increasing it even further by banning everyone from bringing any liquids to the aeroplanes. Even into your check in bag is a nono!!! From now on, everyone is only allowed to bring not more than 100ml of LAG!

Jet LAG!

Nah.. lame attempt at a joke. More like liquids, aerosols or gels. And she then proceeded to curse the States! She always does that. No offense to my wonderful readers reading this. But for some reason or another, she just hates that place. Mainly coz every time my dad goes there for a business trip, he either looses a digital camera, a laptop or a digital camera again. Yup! Those people working in the airport over there must be pretty rich now!

Even after we all tried to rationalize with her that they can't do such thing, she went out and argued that this was wat she read on the newspaper.

Anyway, the point was after I heard her curse and curse and curse, I then proceeded to get myself all worried and uptight about how am I gonna survive not bringing any liquids to US AT ALL!!! Not even into my check in bag!!!

What about my perfume that my boyfriend gave me? My Leonard Drake cleanser, toner and moisturizer? All cannot bring ah? Where got such thing wan!!! What am I going to do? And my contact lense solution?

Itu pun tak boleh bawah ah? Wat la those terrorist people!

Then finally after months of worrying, I finally went and did some research on my own. You know la.. I kinda last minute wan. =P

And this is what I found.

PETALING JAYA: Effective May 21, liquids, aerosols or gels (LAGs) in airline passengers’ hand luggage will be limited to 100ml per item on all international flights departing Malaysia.

LAGs carried in containers larger than 100ml will not be allowed, even if the container is only partially filled. And these containers must be placed in a transparent, re-sealable plastic bag with a maximum capacity of one litre.

And though I was super angry at her for misleading me, I can't really blame her for thinking lidat because no where does it mention that it can be checked in!!!

Sorry mum for arguing with you just now! =(

As usual for our local newspapers to mess things up. So clever me went and googled it up! And this is what I found!

Travelers face tighter security and longer lines because of new airport rules in the USA and UK after a plot to blow up airliners bound for the USA was uncovered. With a busy travel weekend ahead, here's what you need to know:

Q: What can't I pack in my carry-on bag?

A: The new rules ban almost all liquids, creams and gels from being carried aboard flights. That means you should not pack sunscreen, lotion, shampoo, toothpaste, hair gel or beverages in a carry-on. Those items must be put in your checked bags. If you are in doubt about an item, pack it in a checked bag or leave it home.

No where does it mentions the 100ml thing. But it's ok. I know even Singapore Airlines is having this so called 100ml liquids thing. But continue reading..

Q: Besides the ban on liquids and gels, what else will be different about security?

A: The TSA said screeners will be checking passengers more thoroughly at checkpoints, including inspecting more bags by hand. They also will be searching some passengers a second time immediately before boarding — a practice instituted shortly after the Sept. 11 terrorist attacks but discontinued several years ago.

Scary la.. What has our world turned into?

But now I'm kinda confused. If Malaysia tells us that there's this rulling of 100ml of liquids on all international flight, does it apply to US too? But what about the article we read just now? It doesn't apply? Argh.. Totally confused.

What do you think?

At least now I don't have to force myself to pour the cleanser onto my face and splatter my favourite Hearts perfume onto my body just so I don't have to throw it away when I get over to the States!

Now I just have to make sure I manage to squeeze everything nice and tight! =)

CSI Monday!!!

Oooh.. it's my favourite time of the week. Monday night!!! You know why? Coz it's CSI Monday where they show 3 continuous CSI in one night!

Do you enjoy watching crime scene being investigated again and again? I use to dislike this show when it first came out. Didn't understand why the show was such a big hit at all. I was always kinda scared to watch it because I remember the first time I watch it I was watching it alone in my living room and they showed a girl being chased in the middle of a dark parking lot. Then I was too scared to continue watching.

Hence the end of me watching CSI.

But for some reason, (maybe coz my bf loves watching it) I gave it another try and now I'm a big fan of it. CSI New York, CSI Miami and CSI Las Vegas.

Which one is your favorite?

I love CSI Las Vegas and CSI New York. Don't really like CSI Miami coz the guy Horatio Caine aka David Caruso is just too 'cool' for my liking. He's always giving this one liners meant to make him look cool but in my opinion he tries too hard. Fake!!! And the way he has this smug face of his when one of the bad guys get caught?

ARGH!!! Irritating! Can't stand it!

I like Eric Delko though! He's kinda cute! =)

Actually.. Very Cute!

In CSI New York

I like Mac Taylor. He's professional without acting all cool. And he's smart too! Too bad they don't really have any romance in there! It would be sizzling! =P

Danny Messer is not too bad too!

I love it when CSI has 2 crimes going on at the same time. Most of the CSI Las Vegas has it. It makes the show much more interesting. Don't you think so?

Gil Grimson is not really an eye candy if you ask me. But we're not here to watch hot guys right? Or we would be watching Grey's Anatomy now! Hehe.. He's quick and intelligent though. Without trying to hard. And I'm kinda confused with what is happening between him and Sarah. Mind explaining?

I agree totally. Sick now!

And what is the story with Catherine Willows and her daughter? They show one small picture of her daughter in like one episode and no more. Nothing. Did I miss anything there?

Nick Stokes is a cutie dont u agree? =)

So Cute!!!

George Eads! Look at his dimple! Ah..

I don't mind them having the characters develop a bit more and adding some relationship into the picture rather than solving crimes everyday. But then again it would be like all other drama series already right? Hmm..

What do you think?
